Tasteless

Taseteless album cover

Tasteless is the latest EP. The five songs were recorded live at Music Garage in May of 2022, while vocals and extra goodies were tracked at home over the following months. In classic AMT fashion each song is musically busy and specific, which made live tracking truly a bitch. This feels worth the added pain however in a world where every bands edits every possible detail to a grid. That's rock n roll, baby.

The songs cover a range of unorthodox topics, from dementia to the Killdozer. If it wasn't for our obsession with Tom Lehrer and System of a Down, I'm sure these songs would be about love or something.

Chicago's Angeriest Prog-Punk

"...terrorizing local residents with their cool, catchy and zany take on their special brand of "poop rock" I've seen this band play from a chicken coop, baby shower, a church, JB Cooper's house, a toy store and really all sorts of funny places"

Meet the Band

Chris Fleming

Bass/Vocals

As a young boy, Chris cut his teeth running sound for his dad's cover band of fisherman, Hookset. He's been in AMT since the very beginning and begrudgingly took on the task of learning how to sing. Outside of the band, he is a hoarder of masks, p-basses, and zoological artifacts of questionable legality.

John Fitzgerald

Drums

John spent his formative years pretending to be The Rev behind an electric kit. Chicago scenesters may know John as the drummer in Home Entertainment (RIP). He joined AMT in 2018 and has produced all of our albums since. If you're in the market for an audio engineer, look no further than J-Fitz Audio.

Logan Huber

Guitar

Logan spent his entire childhood ripping off System of a Down and trying to skateboard. Skateboarding didn't stick, so his only option was to get pretty okay at the guitar. You may also know him from Vaguewaves (RIP), The Kreutzer Sonata (RIP), and Gen-X Joplin.
